India, Maharashtra state, other disctricts
In the 5 million square kms of basaltic
rock that cover a large part of India, we find a rich source of many minerals, specially
zeolites. I dedicated this particular space to Indian
specimens on the basis of their beauty.
They came from the Maharashtra state, in the central part of India,
the most famous location for minerals findings.
Minerals shown below are classified for the district of origin,
located in the yellow area visible in the map.
