Black biterminated X 2.7cm long, on gypsum matrix. The black color is due to bitumen inclusion. It comes from a small area of Apennines, with occurrences of anydrite veins in the triassic evaporites, with black quartz, gypsum, pyrite, hematite

Shallow cavity with hemispherical black kutnohorite and small elongated XX of colorless aragonite. In this locality the mineral is quite different from the white formation found otherwhere (I have a kutnohorite piece from Gambatesa mine)

Pisa prov. 

 

Barian Celestine
White elongated lamellar XX, up to 4cm, on a septarian formation in limestone, altered by hydrotermal action. It is a celestine variety (from this place) very rich in barium (I rely on a book that quotes this locality)
