Niccioleta mines are very famous mostly for pyrite crystals (often typically striated and elongated, like the first photo in this page), but also for other minerals, such as gypsum and sulphur too. The minerals can be found in two different occurrences: a group related with the main ore minerals, and another group in the skarn occurrence

Celestine
Group of celestine XX, the one in evidence is 2 cm long, without damages. Celestine stands on a small mineralized matrix

Gypsum (selenite)
Semitransparent X (dimension: 8.5x7cm) well terminated, on calcite matrix with some small XX of quartz. On a corner there is a cubic X of pyrite, with natural fractures, 2.5cm long. It is a typical sample from this mine, collected at the beginning of the 80's

Gypsum (selenite)
Large X, with pyrite small XX. Inside the X it is possible to see clay inclusions, the gypsum is very transparent
