Temperino mine. Skarn polymetallic deposit in Valle del Temperino, near Campiglia Marittima. Now a restricted area with a geo-mineral park

Aragonite
Another "flos ferri" aragonite view, from a piece with botryoidal formations, as it is possible to see from the 2nd photo. An old finding

Quartz
Scepter 3.8cm long, surrounded by small quartz XX, on mineralized matrix

9.5x7cm
Temperino mine, Campiglia Marittima, Livorno. Italy
Specimen n.869

Maffei quarry. Granite quarry on Mt Spinosa, that interests the contact rocks with limestone and skarn

Scapolite
Elongated XX, up to 2cm long. A small mass of violet fluorite on the left, it seems to me an unusual association. The specimen comes from a calcite vein (someone told me that it could be meionite, I have some doubts)
9x7.5cm
Maffei cave, Campiglia Marittima, Livorno. Italy
Specimen n.470

Another photo: entire piece
