Monte Arci area is a volcanic massif, located in the north of Medio-Campidano province, not far from the Gulf of Oristano. It is a recent complex (end Pilocene, early Plestocene), standing of sedimentary rocks, with mainly rhyolites, obsidian, trachyte and andesite
