selection of pieces found in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola province in Piemonte;
it means, mainly, the Ossola Valley - the extreme point of Piemonte
towards Switzerland. I classify the pieces from the small valleys, parts of

Combination of scalenohedron, up to 2.6cm, with "chlorite"
and (not visible in he photo) some needles of red rutile. The
locality is near Punta d'Arbola, on the border between Italy (Alpe
Devero - Formazza Valley) and Switzerland (Binn Valley)

Single dark-brown X, typical cube-octahedron from the gneiss
fissures, 1.1x0.9cm wide, with other
small XX. From the famous location, between the Italian Alpe Devero and the Swiss
Binn Valley,
that is one of
the most remarkable minerals location in the Alpine Region (Cu-As
concentration in the gneiss)

"Synchysite"
0.4cm tall X, striated, with the usual spindle-like shape (truncated
and rounded bipyramid) on a quartz matrix. I suppose it is
synchysite-Ce (always seen this kind of piece from Cervandone)
