Albite (pericline)
Well shaped white XX, up to 2.4cm tall. Pericline seems to be the
name for white opaque albite from the Alps, with elongated XX (instead
of the tabular ones of proper albite). Valle del Vento is located at the
top of Valle Aurina and it is famous for titanite and pericline

Zoisite
6 cm long dark green X, fractured and clearly striated, in a quartzitic matrix.
It is a not frequent but typical occurrence in this region (Alpe del
Lago in Val Passiria, Passo di Vizze): the XX are never terminated
and always broken
