Calcite
Rhombohedron, semitransparent, similar to a cube (see my 431 specimen in the Indian calcite section), edge 1 cm. It is posted on white micro-crystalline dolomite, in a dolomitic rock intensely fractured: calcite has been deposited within the fractures and formed some well shaped XX. The locality - a dolomite quarry - is not well known for the mineralogical community, 15 Km far from Bergamo

Large quartz piece covered by small XX of pyromorphite, from a road cut along the way to Piani di Bobbio. It comes from a locality where mines activity dates from Middle Ages up to 2nd World War; in the upper Val Brembana, north-west of Bergamo
