Famous locality in Liguria, well known for rodingites veins. I make a not very proper use of the term "Passo del Faiallo area" because I include adjacent localities

Grossular var hydrogrossular (hibscite?)
Bright deep red XX, up to 0.5cm. I see that often the garnet from Liguria are classified as hessonite, But I knew recently that most analysis demonstrate that all garnet from the famous sites in Liguria are hydrogrossular (
"I nostri minerali" Antofilli, Borgo, Palenzona, Sagep ed.) or hibscite

Transparent XX - edge up to 0.4cm - with a very strong and brilliant color, with "chlorite"

Titanite
Opaque pinkish X, 1.2 cm wide, in an usual shape from this place. In a cavity of rodingite with a lot of well formed vesuvianite XX, up to 1cm long. Not properly Passo del Faiallo area, but closed to it
